Each year the PPDA keeps its word by searching for and recognizing those who have made a contribution to the K9 nation and society at large. We must say that these awards and recognition in no way signify that these individuals are part of or endorse the PPDA. This is not a list of our friends but rather an honorable gesture of recognition.
These awards are a manifestation of our appreciation, respect and gratitude.
Each year we induct people into the hall of fame based on their excellence & historical impact in the personal protection dog community, this years honors go to,

Greetings Rock of Ages, Thank you for your nomination as PPDA person of the year. It is always wonderful when someone recognizes the work you do for others, but it is not about me its about all of the orphan children through out the world, not only the orphans of Kenya. We assist approx. over 300 children. We supply finances for food, medical and education. We take supplies such as school supplies, first aid and medical supplies, clothing, toys. We also take sponsors with us on our yearly trips to meet their kids in person. Some that have traveled with us are teachers, child advocates, ministers, police officers, mother & fathers. We also supply that personal attention to as many children as possible. This is what matters the most. Our next trip is planned for June 2008. My comment is that we need all of your help to support a child's education and welfare. It only cost $45.00 a month to support a child with his education, medical, food, clothing & lodging. Any financial donation accepted FRIENDS OF SHELTERED CHILDREN IN KENYAwww.foscik.org

TRAINER OF THE YEAR
TORIANO SANZONE
Toriano always joked that when his music career was over he would create a dog farm and raise and train dogs. Well, in 2002 his time in the music industry was complete and it was time to train dogs. Toriano moved back to Chicago and worked as a Kennel attendant at All For Doggies which at the times was the largest doggie daycare center in the city. He also studied how to become a dog trainer at the Chicago Canine Acedemy and apprenticed under Master Dog Trainer James Morgan. After working at All For Doggies and Chicago Canine Academy for 2 years, Toriano decided to created his own dog training school and named it Dogman Obedience Protection Academy or D.O.P.A. He started Dopa out of his Grandmother's house and later moved it to a studio apartment in Cicero, IL, then to 3 bedroom apartment in Wicker Park, IL and currently operates a successful dog training school located in Jefferson Park, IL now called the Sanzone School of Dog Training 5572 North Elston Avenue Chicago, IL 60630 USA1 (866) 563 - 9553 - USA
